Catering by the Hoxton Apprentice
The event will be catered by The Hoxton Apprentice - part of a group of apprentice restaurants owned by the charity, Training for Life. It is a social enterprise which gives people who have rather lost their way in life – which today includes many ex-service men and women – a chance to get their lives back on track, learning the skills that will secure them employment in the hospitality industry.

As the HBS London Club begins the selection of CEOs from the non-profit sector who members of the Club have nominated as worthy recipients of the HBS Alumni Club of London Social Enterprise Scholarship – results to be announced in January – a silent auction with many wonderful prizes will be held at this event to replenish the Fund for the next time.
The Scholarship is designed to provide a unique learning experience to leaders in the social enterprise sector. The 2010 Fellowship will award 2 individuals all-expense paid scholarships to attend HBS’ well regarded Strategic Perspectives in Non-Profit Management course in July 2010. Conducted by school faculty on campus for a week each summer, SPNM has a reputation for re-energizing career commitments and making strong leaders even more effective. In addition to the scholarship, the awardees will be provided with funding to spend time in the US on tour, visiting social enterprises, meeting a community of US leaders and learning about different models.
