HBS ALUMNI CLUB CHAMPAGNE XMAS PARTY
AT WHITE CUBE MASON'S YARD, ST. JAMES'S, LONDON
WHITE CUBE MASON'S YARD, ST. JAMES'S, LONDON, SW1
LIMITED PLACES – BOOK EARLY
|Come and raise a glass to Xmas and the close of another interesting and challenging year. Network with friends, classmates and HBS Alumni in the chic environment of the White Cube at St James’s , London.
|White Cube Mason’s Yard opened in September 2006. It is located off Duke Street, St. James's, home of the original White Cube gallery, on a site that was previously an electricity sub-station. Designed by MRJ Rundell & Associates it is the first free-standing building to be built in the St James's area for more than 30 years. The building houses a main, basement floor gallery which is a naturally lit, double-height space with a second gallery on street level providing 5000 ft² of exhibition space which present an international, high profile programme of exhibitions.
|At the time of the HBS Alumni Club of London Xmas Party the exhibition at White Cube Mason’s Yard will be showing works by - Josiah McElheny. Born in Boston, US, in 1966 – he has exhibited widely in the United States and Europe.
|He combines his skills as an expert glassblower, which he honed for many years under the tutelage of European masters, with a playful approach to both the history of his medium and the history of ideas. His objects and installations, often based around historical events, seek to fuse materiality and thought in the experience of looking.
|Champagne, white wine (no red wine will be served) soft drinks and canapés will be served. Guests are welcome
